Qualification

Junior Assistant:

• Must have passed any Degree from a University established under the laws of India.
• Must have secured an average of at least 60% marks.
• Must be able to read and write Kannada.
• Must have knowledge of Kannada language and be able to speak and understand Kannada clearly.
• Must have knowledge of computer operations and applications.

Peon / Watchman:

• Must have passed SSLC with an average of at least 50% marks.
• Must have studied Kannada as a language.

Salary Details

Junior Assistant: Rs. 44,425/- to Rs. 83,700/-

Peon / Watchman: Rs. 27,000/- to Rs. 46,675/-

Applicable allowances and other benefits will be provided as per the applicable government rules.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit is 18 years as on the last date of application.

• General Category: 18 to 35 years
• Category 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B: 18 to 38 years
• SC / ST / Category-1: 18 to 40 years

The maximum age limit will be applicable according to the candidate’s category and Karnataka Government rules.

Peon / Watchman:

Selection Process

Junior Assistant:

• Written Examination
• Interview

For Junior Assistant posts, the written examination carries 85% weightage and the interview carries 15% weightage. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview in a 1:5 ratio based on their written examination marks.

Peon / Watchman:

• Written Examination
• Interview

For Peon / Watchman posts, the written examination carries 85% weightage and the interview carries 15% weightage. Eligible candidates will be called for interview in a 1:5 ratio.

Junior Assistant Exam Pattern

The Junior Assistant written examination consists of two question papers.

First Question Paper – 100 Marks

• Kannada Language – 50 Marks
• General English Language – 25 Marks
• General Knowledge – 25 Marks

Second Question Paper – 100 Marks

• Subjects Related to Cooperative Sector – 50 Marks
• Subjects Related to the Constitution of India – 25 Marks
• Cooperative Bank / Objectives / Activities – 25 Marks

Total: 200 Marks

Peon / Watchman Exam Pattern

• Written Examination
• Written examination marks will carry 85% weightage.
• Interview will carry 15% weightage.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a 1:5 ratio.
