Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), a Government of India Enterprise and Navratna Company, has announced recruitment for 28 vacancies for experienced professionals in regular and fixed-term executive positions. The fixed-term positions are initially for 3 years and may be extended up to an additional 2 years based on project requirements and performance. Posting can be anywhere in India.

Qualification

Candidates must possess the required educational qualification and relevant post-qualification experience prescribed for the respective post.

• General Manager (C&P): Engineering Graduate in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Civil, Mechanical, Solar, Power Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Energy Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. A postgraduate degree/diploma in Materials Management, Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management is desirable.
• Deputy General Manager (Legal): Graduate with 3-year LLB or 5-year integrated LLB. LLM is desirable.
• Deputy Manager (EMD): Full-time B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Solar, Renewable Energy, Power System or similar engineering streams with minimum 60% marks. PG degree in the relevant field is desirable.
• Deputy Manager (Engineering – Civil): Full-time B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks. M.Tech in the relevant field is desirable.
• Deputy Manager (IT): Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) in Computer Science/IT or Master’s in Computer Application with minimum 60% marks.
• Accounts Officer: CA, CMA or 2-year full-time MBA with specialization in Finance with minimum 60% marks from a reputed institute.
• Officer (HR & Admin.): 2-year full-time recognized MBA/PGDBM with specialization in HRM/IR/Personnel Management/Labour Welfare/Labour Administration/Labour Studies with minimum 60% marks. LLB is desirable.
• Engineer (Corporate Planning): Full-time B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.For fixed-term positions, the qualifications include LLB for Officer (Legal), B.Tech/B.E. in the relevant engineering discipline for Senior Engineer and Deputy Manager positions, and B.Tech/B.E. or LLB for Deputy Manager (Solar-Policy & Regulatory), as specified in the notification.

Experience Details

The recruitment is primarily for experienced professionals, and the required experience varies according to the post.

• General Manager (C&P): Minimum 22 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years during the last 10 years in handling high-value contracts and related power/renewable energy projects, procurement, EPC/PMC, manufacturing tenders and other relevant activities.
• Deputy General Manager (Legal): Minimum 13 years of post-qualification relevant experience in legal services, including commercial contracts, court/arbitration matters and regulatory affairs.
• Deputy Manager (EMD): Minimum 4 years of post-qualification relevant experience in Power Trading, including at least 2 years in market-based operations.
• Deputy Manager (Engineering – Civil): Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in designing civil structures, steel/RCC structures and foundations. Experience with software such as STAAD Pro, Tekla or ANSYS is preferred.
• Deputy Manager (IT): Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in relevant IT areas such as application development, network and information security, IT infrastructure, cloud computing, digital transformation, system integration, automation or IT operations.

For other posts, candidates must meet the specific post-qualification experience requirements prescribed in the official notification.

Salary Details

Regular Positions:

• General Manager (C&P): ₹1,20,000 – ₹2,80,000 per month (IDA)
• Deputy General Manager (Legal): ₹90,000 – ₹2,40,000 per month (IDA)
• Deputy Manager (EMD/Civil/IT): ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000 per month (IDA)
• Accounts Officer/Officer (HR & Admin.)/Engineer (Corporate Planning): ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000 per month (IDA)

Fixed Term Executive Positions:

• Officer (Legal): Approximately ₹8.3 lakh – ₹10.2 lakh per annum
• Senior Engineer: Approximately ₹9.9 lakh – ₹11.7 lakh per annum
• Deputy Manager: Approximately ₹11.47 lakh – ₹13.3 lakh per annum

Other benefits and allowances are applicable as per SECI rules and the respective employment terms.

• General Manager (C&P): 55 years
• Deputy General Manager (Legal): 45 years
• Deputy Manager (EMD/Engineering-Civil/IT): 35 years
• Accounts Officer/Officer (HR & Admin.)/Engineer (Corporate Planning): 28 years
• Deputy Manager (Electrical/Civil) – Fixed Term: 40 years
• Deputy Manager (Solar-Policy & Regulatory/Commissioning/Rooftop): 35 years
• Senior Engineer (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical): 33 years
• Officer (Legal) – Fixed Term: 35 years

Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules. OBC-NCL candidates are eligible for 3 years relaxation for posts reserved for the respective category, SC/ST candidates for 5 years, and PwBD candidates for 10 years over and above the applicable category relaxation.

Application Fee

• Regular Positions: Rs. 1,000/-
• Fixed Term Positions: Rs. 500/-

SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen and PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee. The application fee is non-refundable.

Selection Process

The selection process may include shortlisting based on educational qualifications, relevant experience and other eligibility criteria.

Depending on the number of applications received, SECI may raise the eligibility criteria or limit the number of candidates called for the next stage. In case of a large number of applications, SECI may conduct a Screening Test, Written Test, Trade Test, Skill Test or other suitable selection process.

Shortlisted eligible candidates may be called for a Written Test / Group Discussion / Interview, as applicable to the post.
