1. Data Entry Operator

  • No. of Vacancy: 1
  • Qualification: Graduate with a 1-year Diploma Course in Computer Application.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in the related field.

Data Entry Operator – Job Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry on IDSP/IHIP and other electronic databases on a real-time basis using the designated project laptop/computer.
  • Analyze demographic, clinical and laboratory data captured by the project in terms of frequencies and proportions.
  • Assist in data collection, compilation, reporting and analysis and other local actions related to the project.
  • Assist in organizing training programmes.
  • Assist in organizing technical meetings.
  • Assist in compilation of monthly reviews, periodic reports and plans under the project.
  • Assist in completing any other work assigned by the Programme Division, DZDP, NCDC, New Delhi.
  • Identify clustering of cases or other important findings from laboratory data under the supervision of the Nodal Officer.
  • Ensure timely dissemination of important findings to the State and District Surveillance Officer and Entomologist of the Health Department, State and District Animal Husbandry Department and other relevant stakeholders.

2. Laboratory Technician

  • Remuneration: ₹30,000/- consolidated per month.

Laboratory Technician – Essential Qualification

  • Graduate in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from a recognized University/Institute/Hospital.
  • OR Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) with a course duration of at least 2 years from a recognized University.
  • OR Diploma/Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) with a course duration of at least 1 year from a recognized University.
  • OR Diploma in Animal Husbandry with a course duration of at least 2 years from a recognized University.

Laboratory Technician – Desirable Qualifications / Experience

  • Candidates with expertise in handling animals and collection of clinical samples from animals shall be preferred.
  • 1 year experience in a medical laboratory for candidates having a 2-year MLT Diploma from a recognized Central Government/State Government Hospital, Institute, Autonomous or Private Institute.
  • 2 years experience in a medical laboratory for candidates having a 1-year MLT Diploma from a recognized Central Government/Delhi Government Hospital, Institute, Autonomous or Private Institute.
  • 1 year experience in a medical laboratory for graduates in Science from a recognized Central Government/Delhi Government Hospital, Institute, Autonomous or Private Institute.

Laboratory Technician – Job Responsibilities

  • Identify eligible patients for inclusion in sentinel surveillance in collaboration with the treating physician/veterinarian.
  • Take clinical, demographic and epidemiological details of eligible patients as per the project’s guidelines.
  • Work with designated clinicians/veterinarians to ensure proper enrolment of eligible patients.
  • Conduct field visits for collection of appropriate clinical samples as per the protocol and defined algorithm under the supervision of the treating physician/veterinarian.
  • Carry out routine testing of clinical samples for various zoonotic diseases according to the standard operating procedures followed at the health facility.
  • Assist in organizing training programmes under the programme.
  • Assist in organizing technical meetings under the programme.
  • Assist in compilation of monthly reviews, periodic reports and plans under the project.
  • Participate in SLZC and DLZC along with the Nodal Officer and assist in facilitation of the same.
  • Assist in completing any other work assigned by the Programme Division, DZDP, NCDC, New Delhi.

Salary Details

  • Data Entry Operator: ₹20,000/- per month consolidated.
  • Laboratory Technician: ₹30,000/- per month consolidated.
  • The remuneration is consolidated and is subject to release of grants and the applicable terms, conditions and revisions as per NCDC guidelines.
