Qualification

Applicants must meet the educational qualifications prescribed in the official notification.

Candidates should have any one of the following qualifications:

  • PUC with a minimum of 50% marks and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • PUC with a minimum of 50% marks and four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.
  • PUC with a minimum of 50% marks and two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Category-1, OBC categories as specified in the notification, and candidates with disabilities, the minimum PUC marks requirement is 45% as prescribed.

Candidates must also have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the Government of Karnataka or the Government of India.

Salary Details

Salary: Rs. 41,300/- to Rs. 81,800/-

Age Limit

General Merit Candidates: Maximum 40 years

Category 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B Candidates: Maximum 43 years

SC, ST and Category-1 Candidates: Maximum 45 years

The age relaxation and eligibility conditions will be applicable as prescribed in the official notification.

Application Fee

General Merit / 2A / 2B / 3A / 3B Candidates: Rs. 750/-

SC / ST / Category-1 / Ex-Servicemen / PwD Candidates: Rs. 500/-

Specially Abled Candidates: Rs. 250/-

The application fee includes the prescribed application and processing fee as mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT) as prescribed by the Karnataka Examinations Authority.

The examination consists of two papers:

  • Paper 1: 100 Questions, 100 Marks, 2 Hours
  • Paper 2: 100 Questions, 100 Marks, 2 Hours

The examination will cover the subjects and syllabus specified in the official recruitment notification. Candidates should carefully follow the prescribed syllabus and examination instructions before appearing for the test.
