Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Bengaluru has released recruitment notifications for the post of Land Surveyor (Bhoomapaakaru) in the Department of Survey, Settlement and Land Records. - Other Cadre: 560 Posts
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess any one of the qualifications prescribed in the recruitment notification.
- Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University / institution or AMIE qualification in Engineering or Technology.
- B.Sc. Degree in subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication or Agriculture.
- Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology from an institution approved by AICTE.
Age Limit
Candidates must have completed 18 years of age.
- General Merit: Maximum 40 Years
- Category 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B: Maximum 43 Years
- SC / ST / Category-1: Maximum 45 Years
Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules mentioned in the recruitment notification.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive salary as per the revised Karnataka State Government pay scale.
Pay Scale: ₹37,500 – ₹76,100 per month

- SC / ST / Category-1 / Ex-Servicemen / Third Gender: ₹500
- PwD Candidates: ₹250

Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must secure at least 35% marks in the competitive examination.
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer as specified in the notification.
Kannada Language Test
Candidates who are not exempted from the compulsory Kannada Language Test must appear for the test and qualify as prescribed in the notification.
The Kannada Language Test carries 150 marks, and candidates are required to secure 50 marks to qualify.
Training / Probation
Selected candidates will be required to undergo the prescribed departmental training and probation period as mentioned in the notification.
