Qualification

Office Assistant (Multipurpose):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in the local language prescribed by the participating RRB.
  • Working knowledge of Computer is desirable.

Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Preference may be given to candidates having degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy.
  • Proficiency in the local language prescribed by the participating RRB is essential.

Officer Scale-II (Manager):

  • Qualification varies according to the General Banking and Specialist Officer posts.
  • Relevant professional or technical qualification and prescribed post-qualification experience are required for Specialist posts.
  • Officer Scale-II includes General Banking Officer and various Specialist Cadres.

Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Preference may be given to candidates having a Degree/Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

For Officer Scale-II Specialist posts, candidates must satisfy the specific qualification and experience requirements prescribed for the respective post.

Salary Details

Salary: The salary, allowances and other benefits will be provided as per the applicable pay structure and service rules of the respective Regional Rural Bank.

The actual salary and benefits may vary depending on the post and participating RRB.

Age Limit

The age limit will be calculated as on 1st September 2026.

  • Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 18 to 28 Years
  • Officer Scale-I: Above 18 and Below 30 Years
  • Officer Scale-II: Above 21 and Below 32 Years
  • Officer Scale-III: Above 21 and Below 40 Years

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 Years
  • OBC-NCL: 3 Years
  • PwBD: 10 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government rules

Additional age relaxation may be applicable to eligible candidates belonging to specified categories as per the recruitment notification.

Officer Scale-II & III: Candidates will appear for a Single Online Examination. The examination pattern and subjects depend on the respective post or cadre.

Interview

Interview is applicable only for Officer Scale-I, Officer Scale-II and Officer Scale-III posts.

  • Total Interview Marks: 100
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40%
  • SC/ST/OBC/PwBD: Minimum 35%
  • Online Examination : Interview Weightage: 80 : 20

Candidates must qualify in the prescribed online examination and interview and secure sufficiently high merit for provisional allotment.
