Out of the 310 seats, 16 seats are horizontally reserved for PwD candidates.
Qualification
Candidates must possess the required ITI qualification in the respective trade.

- The qualification must be obtained from an Indian institute recognized by the appropriate statutory authority.
- Candidates must first register on the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) Apprenticeship Portal.

Apprenticeship Period

- Training Starts: 02 November 2026
- Selected candidates will have to execute an Apprenticeship Contract before commencement of training.
- After completion of training, apprentices will undergo a practical test to determine proficiency in the designated trade.
- On successful completion of the required process, the National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) will be issued by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

How to Apply
Eligible candidates must complete the application process through the MSDE Apprenticeship Portal followed by the ECIL online application.

- Step 2: After completing MSDE registration, visit the ECIL official website.
- Step 3: Go to Human Resources → Current Job Openings.
- Step 4: Find Advertisement No. 11/2026 for ITI Trade Apprentices.
- Step 5: Enter the required personal, educational and registration details.
- Step 6: Submit the online application before the deadline.
- Step 7: Take a printout of the registered application form containing the system-generated application number.
- Step 8: Keep the application number safely for all future correspondence.
Important: Registration on the MSDE Apprenticeship Portal alone is not sufficient. Eligible candidates must also submit the application through the ECIL website. Only applications submitted through the ECIL website will be considered.
