BEML Apprentice Recruitment 2026: BEML Limited, a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has invited online applications for 1,346 apprenticeship training slots for a period of one year at its various manufacturing units. Eligible candidates with B.E./B.Tech, Degree, Diploma and ITI qualifications can apply online before the last date.

Educational Qualification

Graduate Technical Apprentice:

Candidates must possess a 4-year full-time Engineering Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized institute/university. Eligible disciplines include Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Automobile, Information Science, E&T, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Aeronautical.

Graduate General Apprentice:

Candidates must possess a 3-year full-time Graduation qualification such as B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA or BBA (HR).

Diploma Apprentice:

Candidates must possess a 3-year full-time Diploma in the relevant discipline, including Electrical & Electronics, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics, Communication, Automobile, Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering.

ITI Apprentice:

Candidates must possess a full-time ITI qualification of one or two years depending on the respective trade.

Stipend Details

  • Graduate Technical Apprentice: Rs.12,300/- per month
  • Graduate General Apprentice: Rs.12,300/- per month
  • Diploma Apprentice: Rs.10,900/- per month
  • ITI Apprentice: Rs.9,600/- or Rs.10,560/- per month, depending on the trade

The stipend will be paid subject to satisfactory performance and attendance during the apprenticeship training.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 17 Years

Candidates who have not completed 17 years of age at the time of application are not eligible.

The notification does not prescribe a separate maximum age limit in the eligibility conditions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualification for the respective apprenticeship trade.
  • The final examination result should have been declared within three years from the closing date of application.
  • Candidates awaiting the results of their final examination are not eligible.
  • The required qualification must be a full-time regular degree/diploma from a recognized institute/university.
  • Part-time, correspondence, distance education and online-mode qualifications are not eligible.
  • Candidates who have undergone or are undergoing apprenticeship training in any organization for any duration are not eligible.
  • Candidates must be Indian citizens.
  • The required area of specialization should be mentioned in the degree/diploma certificate or supported by a certificate from the concerned institution.

Application Fee

No Application Fee.

BEML has specified that there is no application fee for this apprenticeship recruitment.

Selection Process

There will be no written examination or interview for BEML Apprentice Recruitment 2026.

The selection process will be based on:

  • Application Screening
  • Trade-wise and Location-wise Merit List
  • Document / Certificate Verification
  • Final Merit List
  • Medical Certificate
  • Police Verification Certificate
  • Apprenticeship Contract on NATS / NAPS Portal
  • Offer of Engagement

Applications will be screened based on the prescribed eligibility and qualification. Candidates will be shortlisted trade-wise and location-wise in the ratio of 1:5 against the available training slots.

The final merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in the final qualifying examination.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates must first complete their registration on the appropriate apprenticeship portal and then submit the application through the BEML recruitment website.

  1. ITI candidates should register on the NAPS portal.
  2. Degree / Diploma Engineering candidates should register on the NATS portal.
  3. Complete or update the apprenticeship profile by uploading all required documents.
  4. Obtain the NAPS / NATS registration or enrolment number.
  5. Visit the official BEML recruitment portal.
  6. Select Apprentices → Login / Registration.
  7. Select the eligible trade and location.
  8. Enter all required personal and educational details.
  9. Upload the required documents.
  10. Submit the application online.
  11. Save or download the submitted application for future reference.

Important: Candidates can submit only one application for a particular trade at a particular location. Candidates applying for multiple locations or trades will not be considered.

Documents Required

  • NAPS / NATS Apprenticeship Registration or Enrolment Number
  • Completed / Updated NAPS or NATS Profile
  • Educational Certificates and Mark Sheets
  • Matriculation Certificate as Proof of Age
  • SC / ST / Latest OBC (NCL) Certificate, if applicable
  • Bank Cancelled Cheque or First Page of Passbook showing DBT-enabled account details
  • Recent Colour Passport-size Photograph
  • Signature
  • Government-issued Identity Card such as Aadhaar, Passport, Driving Licence or PAN Card

Aadhaar and Bank Account Requirements

Candidates should have an active Aadhaar-seeded bank account enabled for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

The candidate’s name and date of birth should be the same in the Matriculation Certificate, Aadhaar Card and Bank Account.

The required bank and DBT details must be submitted in the online application.

Apprenticeship Training Duration

The apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year from the date of joining.

The apprenticeship will automatically end after completion of one year and no further extension will be permitted.

Apprentices are not allowed to enrol in or undergo any regular course or job during the apprenticeship tenure.

Important Application Instructions

  • Only one application is permitted for a particular trade at a particular location.
  • Multiple applications or applications for multiple locations/trades will be rejected.
  • Incomplete applications will be rejected.
  • Applications submitted without proper documents will be rejected.
  • Candidates providing false information or invalid documents may be disqualified at any stage.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending document verification.
  • Completion of apprenticeship does not create any right or claim for employment with BEML.
  • Selected apprentices must maintain satisfactory performance and attendance.
