AP Police Chittoor Recruitment 2026: Government of Andhra Pradesh, Police Department has released a notification for the recruitment of Record Assistant, Office Subordinate, Sweepers, Scavengers, Cooks, Dhobis and Barbers on an outsourcing basis in the 8th (IR) Battalion, APSP, Chittoor.

A total of 37 vacancies are available under this recruitment. Eligible candidates can submit their applications from 06.09.2026 to 15.09.2026. The monthly remuneration for all the posts is ₹15,000.

Qualification

Record Assistant:

• 10th Class or equivalent qualification.

Office Subordinate:

• 7th Class Pass.

Sweeper:

• Candidates must be able to read and write Telugu, Urdu, English or Hindi.

Scavenger:

• Candidates must be able to read and write Telugu, Urdu, English or Hindi.

Cook:

• Male candidates only.
• Must be able to read and write Telugu, Urdu, English or Hindi.
• Must possess professional cooking skill.

Dhobi:

• Must be able to read and write Telugu, Urdu, English or Hindi.
• Must possess professional skill.

Barber:

• Must be able to read and write Telugu, Urdu, English or Hindi.
• Must possess professional barbering skill.

Salary Details

Job Location

Job Location: 8th (IR) Battalion, APSP, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.

The recruitment is for the 8th (IR) Battalion, APSP, Chittoor. Cooks and Barbers may be required to move to different areas across the State in accordance with the movement of Battalion companies.

Local Candidate Eligibility

• The district jurisdiction for this recruitment is the erstwhile Chittoor District only.
• Candidates who studied from the erstwhile Chittoor District will be considered as Local Candidates based on their 4th to 10th Class study certificates, as per the Presidential Order.
• Remaining candidates will be considered as Non-Local Candidates.

• Filled-in application form with latest passport-size photograph.
• Attested copy of SSC marks memo or equivalent certificate.
• Attested copies of marks memos of all years of the qualifying examination.
• Pass certificate of the prescribed qualification.
• Proof of appearance for the qualifying examination, wherever applicable.
• Attested copy of provisional/permanent qualification certificate.
• Attested copy of permanent registration certificate of the concerned council/board, wherever applicable.
