Qualification
1. Doctor (Full Time)
- MBBS qualification.
- Must have registration with the Medical Council / Medical Commission.
- Selected candidates should undergo the training arranged by MOSJE/NISD within three months of joining the Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts (IRCA).
- If a suitable MBBS candidate is not available, candidates possessing higher qualifications such as Psychiatry Diploma / M.D. will be considered as specified in the notification.
2. Project Coordinator cum Vocational Counsellor
- Graduate qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing such centres, or demonstrable capability for running such centres.
- Working knowledge of computers is required.
3. Ward Boy
- Must have passed 8th Class.
- Experience of working in Hospitals / Health Care Centres / De-Addiction Centres is required.
4. Counsellor / Social Worker / Psychologist
- Graduate in Social Sciences, preferably in Social Work / Psychology.
- 1–2 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Knowledge of English and at least one regional language.
- Preference will be given to candidates holding a Certificate of Training Course in De-Addiction Counselling from a recognised institution.
5. Peer Educator
- Should be literate.
- Should be an ex-drug user with 1–2 years of sobriety.
- Must be willing to work among the drug-using population.
- Good communication skills are required.
- Must agree to refrain from using, buying or selling drugs.
- Should be willing to work for prevention of harmful drug use and relapse.
6. Chowkidar
- General qualification as prescribed for SSC.
7. House Keeping Staff
- General qualification as prescribed for SSC.
8. Yoga Therapist / Dance / Music / Art Teacher
- Must possess experience of at least 3 years in the relevant discipline.
Salary Details
- Doctor (Full Time): ₹60,000 per month
- Project Coordinator cum Vocational Counsellor: ₹25,000 per month
- Ward Boy: ₹13,000 per month
- Counsellor / Social Worker / Psychologist: ₹17,500 per month
- Peer Educator: ₹10,000 per month
- Chowkidar: ₹9,000 per month
- House Keeping Staff: ₹9,000 per month
- Yoga Therapist / Dance / Music / Art Teacher: ₹5,000 per month
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 42 years as on 01 July 2026.
- SC / ST / BC / EWS Candidates: 5 years relaxation.
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years in addition to the length of service rendered in the Armed Forces.
- Differently Abled Persons: 10 years relaxation.
- Maximum Age after all applicable relaxations: 52 years.

The application fee must be submitted through a Demand Draft in favour of:

- Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application for each post.
- A separate Demand Draft is required for each post applied for.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on the prescribed merit and weightage system for a total of 100 marks.
- Educational Qualification Marks: 75% weightage based on aggregate marks obtained in all years of the qualifying examination or equivalent qualification.
- Qualification Experience Weightage: Up to 10 marks, at 1 mark for each completed year after acquiring the required qualification.
- Contract / Outsourcing / Honorarium Service: Weightage up to 15 marks is applicable as per the prescribed government rules.
- Additional service weightage may be applicable based on the area of service, subject to the conditions specified in the notification.
- COVID-19 service weightage will be considered only for eligible candidates who satisfy the prescribed conditions and produce the required service certificate.
Contract Period
- The appointment is initially for a period of one year from the date of joining.
- The tenure may be extended further as per government instructions and applicable rules.
- The District Selection Committee reserves the right to terminate contract / outsourcing services as per the prescribed conditions.
