The vacancies are distributed among different Mandals and subjects in Chittoor District. The detailed Mandal-wise allocation includes School Assistant subjects such as Urdu, Hindi, English, Maths, Telugu, Urdu, Physical Science, Biological Science, Tamil and Social Studies, along with SGT vacancies in Telugu, Urdu and Tamil.
Qualification
Candidates should possess the required academic and professional qualifications prescribed for the concerned post.
The application form includes details relating to SSC, Intermediate, Graduation, Post Graduation, D.El.Ed, B.Ed and TET qualifications.
TET Qualified Candidates: Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified TET. If a TET-qualified candidate is not available for a particular post, candidates having the required academic and professional qualifications for the concerned post may be considered.
Candidates must submit copies of their relevant educational and professional qualification certificates along with the application.
Salary Details
School Assistant (SA): Rs.12,500/- per month
Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT): Rs.10,000/- per month
The Academic Instructors will be engaged on a temporary basis for a period of 8 months, from 1st September 2026 to 30th April 2027.
Age Limit
The notification does not specify a separate age limit for the Academic Instructor engagement. Candidates should meet the eligibility conditions prescribed for the concerned post.
Selection Process
The selection and engagement of Academic Instructors will be carried out according to the prescribed guidelines.
- Preference to candidates who are natives of the concerned village/Mandal
- Preference to TET-qualified candidates
- Consideration of candidates having the required academic and professional qualifications where TET-qualified candidates are not available
- Scrutiny of applications
- Approval by the District Collector
After approval, the selected candidates will be communicated to the concerned Mandal Educational Officers and School Management Committees for engagement.
How to Apply
Eligible candidates should submit the prescribed Academic Instructor application form to the concerned Mandal Educational Office/MRC.
Candidates should fill in the application form with their personal details, educational qualifications, professional qualifications, TET details, bank details and residential details.
One set of xerox copies of all relevant educational qualification certificates and other required documents should be enclosed with the application form.
Applications should be submitted at the concerned Mandal Educational Office during the prescribed working hours.
