Educational Qualification
Technical Assistant – Mechanical: Three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with First Class.
Technical Assistant – Chemical: Three-year Diploma in Chemical Engineering with First Class.
Technician ‘B’ – Electronic Mechanic: SSLC/SSC Pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in Electronic Mechanic Trade from NCVT.
Technician ‘B’ – Fitter: SSLC/SSC Pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in Fitter Trade from NCVT.
Draughtsman ‘B’ – Mechanical: SSLC/SSC Pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in Draughtsman (Mechanical) Trade from NCVT.
Fireman ‘A’: SSLC/SSC Pass and must satisfy the prescribed physical fitness and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) standards.
Salary Details
Technical Assistant: Rs.44,900/- to Rs.1,42,400/- per month.
Technician ‘B’: Rs.21,700/- to Rs.69,100/- per month.
Draughtsman ‘B’: Rs.21,700/- to Rs.69,100/- per month.
Fireman ‘A’: Rs.19,900/- to Rs.63,200/- per month.
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age for Post Nos. 813 to 817: 35 Years
Maximum Age for Fireman ‘A’: 25 Years
Age will be calculated as on 04.09.2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules. SC/ST candidates are eligible for 5 years relaxation and OBC candidates are eligible for 3 years relaxation for reserved posts.
Application Fee
For Technical Assistant Posts: Applicants have to initially pay Rs.750/-. Female, SC, ST, PWBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates will receive a full refund. For other candidates, Rs.250/- will be retained and Rs.500/- will be refunded.
For Technician ‘B’, Draughtsman ‘B’ and Fireman ‘A’ Posts: Applicants have to initially pay Rs.500/-. Female, SC, ST, PWBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates will receive a full refund. For other candidates, Rs.100/- will be retained and Rs.400/- will be refunded.
Fee refund will be made online to eligible candidates who appear for the written examination.
Selection Process
Technical Assistant / Technician ‘B’ / Draughtsman ‘B’:
- Written Test
- Skill Test
The written examination will have 80 multiple-choice questions and will be conducted for 90 minutes. Each correct answer carries 1 mark and there will be 0.33 negative marking for every wrong answer.
Fireman ‘A’:
- Written Test
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
How to Apply
Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official LPSC recruitment portal.
Before applying, candidates should ensure that they possess the prescribed qualification and upload the required certificates, mark sheets and other applicable documents.
Candidates applying under reserved categories should upload the relevant reservation certificates along with the application.
No hard copy of the application, certificates or payment receipt needs to be sent to LPSC after successful completion of the online application.
