UCO Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 530 Vacancies

UCO Bank has released the official notification for the engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for the financial year 2026–27. A total of 530 apprenticeship vacancies are available across various States and Union Territories in India. Eligible graduates can register online and apply for apprenticeship training through the prescribed portals. The online registration process starts on 14 October 2026 and closes on 29 October 2026.

The notification provides apprenticeship vacancies across various States and Union Territories. The number of seats is provisional and may change according to the Bank’s actual requirements.

Important: Candidates can apply for apprenticeship engagement in only one State/UT. Applications for multiple States/UTs from the same candidate will be rejected.

Qualification

• Candidates must possess a graduate degree from a recognized university or institute approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
• Graduation must have been completed on or after 1 April 2022.
• Candidates must possess the relevant graduation mark sheets and provisional or final degree certificate.
• Candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and apply for the UCO Bank apprenticeship opportunity.
• Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding at least one local language of the State/UT for which they apply.
• Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training with UCO Bank or another organization, are currently pursuing apprenticeship training, or had an apprenticeship terminated by an organization are not eligible.
• Candidates who have one year or more of training or job experience after completing their qualifying educational qualification are not eligible.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend during the one-year apprenticeship training period.

• Total Monthly Stipend: ₹16,650
• UCO Bank Contribution: ₹10,500 per month, paid into the apprentice’s bank account
• Government of India Contribution: ₹6,150 per month through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), subject to applicable Government guidelines
• Training Duration: One year from the date of the apprenticeship contract

The stipend includes the applicable Government of India subsidy. Apprentices are not eligible for other allowances or employee benefits under this engagement.

Important: This is an apprenticeship training opportunity, not regular bank employment. UCO Bank is not obligated to provide permanent employment after completion of the training.

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: 3 Years
• PwBD Candidates – UR/EWS: 10 Years

• PwBD Candidates – SC/ST: 15 Years
• Widows, Divorced Women and Women Legally Separated from Their Husbands Who Have Not Remarried: Up to 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates

Candidates claiming age relaxation must provide the prescribed supporting certificates during document verification.

Application Fee

The application, intimation and examination fee is non-refundable and must be paid online.

• General, EWS and OBC Male Candidates: ₹800 plus GST
• General, EWS and OBC Female Candidates: ₹600 plus GST

The fee must be paid through the secure online payment link provided during the application process. No other payment method will be accepted.

Selection Process

The selection process for UCO Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 consists of the following stages:

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• General/EWS Candidates: 40 out of 100
• SC/ST/OBC/PwBD Candidates: 35 out of 100

The merit list will be prepared State-wise and category-wise based on examination marks. Candidates who have already studied the relevant local language in Class 10 or Class 12 and can produce the required mark sheet or certificate may be exempt from the local language test.

2. Open the Student Register/Login section and register on the portal if you are not already registered.

5. After successful registration and application, check your registered email for communication from BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC).
6. Eligible candidates will receive instructions to provide additional information, select their preferred training districts and pay the examination fee.
7. Complete the additional application and fee-payment process through https://beep.bfsissc.com/.
8. Ensure that the details entered during examination registration match the details submitted on the NATS portal.
9. Keep your NATS enrolment ID, registered email address and mobile number available for future communication.
10. Complete the application and fee payment before the deadline.

Important: Registration on the NATS portal alone is not sufficient. Eligible candidates must also complete the additional registration and fee-payment process communicated by BFSI SSC. No hard copy of the application needs to be sent to the Bank.
