Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU), Veterinary College, Hebbal, Bengaluru, has announced recruitment for 1 Data Entry Operator (DEO) vacancy on a contractual basis under the National One Health Program for Prevention and Control of Zoonoses (NOHPPCZ), funded by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications by email before the last date and attend the interview on the scheduled date.

The selected candidate will work at the KVAFSU-CVA Rabies Diagnostic Laboratory, WOAH Reference Laboratory for Rabies, Department of Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary College, Hebbal, Bengaluru.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following qualification:

• A Bachelor’s Degree such as B.Com, BCA, B.Sc, B.A., or any other Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data management.
• Basic computer knowledge and proof of proficiency in data entry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Ability to maintain records and prepare reports using Word and Excel.
• Ability to assist in preparing departmental data sheets, training manuals, and laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Knowledge of administrative and operational support.
• Accounts management skills.
• Ability to manage store operations.
• Ability to analyse financial data using Excel.
• Help desk skills, including handling customer complaints and preparing reports.

Salary Details

• Consolidated Salary: Rs. 20,000/- per month.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: Below 35 years.
• SC/ST Candidates: Age relaxation up to 5 years.
• OBC Candidates: Age relaxation up to 3 years.

The age limit will be calculated as of the last date for submission of applications.

Selection Process

The selection process will be conducted through an interview.

• Eligible candidates must attend the interview in person.
• Candidates must bring the duly filled application form and necessary supporting documents.
• Original certificates must be produced for verification at the time of the interview.
• Candidates must attend the interview at their own expense.
